13. What was it like to collaborate with Nathan McCree, Martin
Iveson and Matthew Kemp on the Tomb Raider 3 soundtrack?
I
didn't do a great deal on TR3, so didn't get to work with Nathan
and Matthew. I did work with Martin, who was responsible for the
SFX. I also wrote a piece of music, which was intended for the
very last boss on TR3, but it was too late to add to the game,
so I kept it for TR4.
14. As someone who has had a wealth of experience with the
Tomb Raider series, how do you feel about the work of Troels B.
Folmann and his shaping of the new Tomb Raider music?
I
feel really awful saying this, but I haven't actually heard his
work. I did hear some audio in a demo I played a little while
back, but I've yet to play the full release. What I did hear, I
really
liked, but would love to and will hear more soon.
15. Looking back over your time with Core Design and your
experience with the Tomb Raider games, what would you say was
your best or your most defining moment and why?
Watching / listening to the London Symphony Orchestra play the
Angel of Darkness opening theme tune. It was a VERY moving
moment and something I'd not experienced before then and not
since either. Three takes and they had it nailed.
16. Are you working on anything right now? Or what do you
have lined up for the near future?
I'm
managing an audio department and working on several projects
simultaneously, which I can't disclose just yet, but they're
next gen products and very exciting to work with.
